Sapa is an incredibly picturesque town that lies in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range near the Chinese border in northwestern Vietnam, known as “the Tonkinese Alps”. Sapa and its surrounding region is host to many hill tribes, as well as rice terraces, lush vegetation, and Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam.

DAY 1 : HANOI ARRIVAL

Welcome to Vietnam. Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport,Travelo Vietnam guide and driver will greet and pick you up to the hotel at the heart of Hanoi capital. Hanoi, the antique and dynamic city of Vietnam, reserves a unique old world charm and several of the most striking colonial architecture of Asia. After the checking-in,Take relax by your own and do briefing itinerary with our guide for coming days. enjoy a cyclo ride through the bustling streets in the Old Quarter to discover the ancient and modern beauty of Hanoi. After the tour, you will be warmly welcome with a special welcoming dinner in a typical Vietnamese food restaurant. Stay overnight in Hanoi:

DAY 2: HANOI – MAI CHAU – HANG KIA

Have hearty breakfast in Hotel, we depart early morning and transfer 4 hours to Mai Chau on scenic road, upon arrival, have delicious lunch in Poom Coom Village, separated our luggage for trekking days. Meet our support team and local trekking guide. We leave Mai Chau for Xa Linh where we start trekking to Hang Kia the villages of Colorful Hmong people. We trek on wonderful trail crisscross by local footpaths and a long remote valley to Hang Kia. Upon arrival, we have dinner and stay overnight with Hmong People.
Trekking time 4- 5hours: / distance 15km

DAY 3: HANG KIA – CUN PHEO

Enjoy delicious breakfast with the Host and say farewell them, we start new trekking day through the peaceful village and cornfiels, and then we spend few hours hiking in beautiful disturbed forest before pluging very steeply downhill in to stream, a wide lush valley cultivated by minorities Thai People. The step down hill may be challenging if it has rain recently.. along the valley bottom rice fields and vegetable farm are punctuated by idyllic looking villages. reaching level ground, hiking along jeep trail and on village paths to Bao La and Van village where we will stay tonight. Have dinner and stay overnight with Thai Mionority people.
Trekking time 6- 7 hours: / distance 17km

DAY 4: CUN PHEO –SAM KHOE – MAI HICH

Get up early to participate in local Market, you will be impressive on simplicity and friendship in this area, they will deal with their own productions to exchange the neccessary things for theirlife. Come back to homestay for breakfast. After say good bye our host ,we commence trekking through village , cross the suspension bridge and go down to valley, keep hiking on dirt path and single track trail to Sam Khoe. On the way you are rewarded by magnificent scenic beauty and breathtaking limestone mountain, lush rice terrace paddy. Stop on the way to visit school as well as local clinic, interact with Thai Peolpe to understand further their culture.. upon arriving in Mai Hich do check in and have dinner with family. Enjoy music performance with traditional Thai dance.
Trekking time 7- 8 hours: / distance 15km

DAY 5: MAI HICH – MAI CHAU – HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI

Enjoying delicious pancake and banana cake with the Host,and farewell them, we commence our trekking day along the canal, passing quaint villages , lush green rice fields and fascinating mountain ranges to Poom Coong village where we have picnic lunch. Stroll around the village to admire colourfulsouvenir shops. Load up our luggage and take transfer three hours back to Hanoi. Upon arriving in city, we have early dinner in local restaurant. Our bus take us to Train Station to catch night train to Sapa. Stay overnight in 04 share cabin with soft berth and aircondition.

DAY 6: LAO CAI – BUS TO SAPA- FREE DAY

Arriving into Lao Cai early this morning we then take a beautifully scenic drive to Sapa town by charter bus (45 minute). Due to our early arrival it may not be possible to check in to our hotel until later in the day. On arrival the tour leader will run through your options for today and lead a short orientation tour of Sapa, after which the rest of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure. Sapa is a quiet mountain town that sits deep in the Hoang Lien Son range, close to Fan Si Pan mountain which is Vietnam’s highest peak at a height of 3141m. The region is home to a rich diversity of ethnic minorities, including H’mong, Yao, Tay, Zay and Xa Pho for whom Sapa is the chief market town and there are plenty of options available this afternoon to take walks out to some of the nearby villages that lie scattered across the valley or just relax around town. Depending upon the interests of the group, it may also be possible to visit the nearby market at Lung Khau Nhin on Thursday, Coc Ly on Tuesday, Cao son on Wednesday, Can Cau on Saturday, Bac Ha on Sunday.

DAY7: SAPATRANSFER TO THANH KIM :BAN LECH DAO TREK TOSIN CHAI

Today we begin our 4-day trek through the wonderful landscapes of the Hoang Lien Mountains and the Muong Hoa and Suoi Thau Valleys. These rural panoramas are steeped in the local colour and traditions of the Tay and the Red Zao and over the next two days we will have an ideal opportunity to learn more of the customs and simplicity of life amongst these remote villages. Depending on the season we may see tropical butterflies, wildflowers and orchids. The valley come alive with colourful rhododendrons and fruit blossom during springtime. We will trek through bamboo forests and rustic vegetable gardens encountering plenty of water buffalo and domestic animals along our route. We depart Sapa this morning and transfer the short distance to the village of Ban Lech Dao in Thanh Kim Commune, from where we begin our trek along a narrow, winding trail that leads downhill through terraced rice paddies to the Muong Bo River. Crossing the river by bridge, we then trek to the Tay village of Muong Bo, where we stop for lunch and spend a little time wandering amongst its spacious stilted house. The afternoon then sees us embarking on a fascinating journey into the remote heartlands of the Red Zao, passing through the village of Nam Cum and along the Suoi Thau Valley to our night stop in the village of Sin Chai. The Red Zao people build large wooden houses where it is not uncommon for several generations to be housed under the same roof. After dropping off our gear and settling in to our overnight accomodation the rest of the afternoon is free to take a wander through this charming village.It may also be possible to arrange a traditional herbal bath at the house. If you wish to shorten the distance of today’s walk it is possible to ride on the support vehicle at the beginning of the day until Thanh Phu Bridge, thus avoiding about 2 hours of walking. We will be staying in a simple, traditional, local houses, enjoying the rustic charm of the setting. You will be sleeping in a communal area with mosquito nets, sleeping bags, mattresses, pillows and towels provided. Approx walking: 7 hours/16kms

DAY 8: SIN CHAI VILLAGE TREK TO BAN HO VILLAGE

Our second day sees us departing Sin Chai after breakfast, following a downhill track into the Nam Sai Valley, where we visit another Tay village, before continuing on to the Xa Pho village of My Son. The Xa Pho people are believed to have migrated here from Malaysia ,Indonesia some three centuries ago and seem to differ from the other minority groups in both their dress and their language. Semi-nomadic and steeped in strong traditions of community spirit, the Xa Pho are a rather timid people who keep very much to themselves and whose language has been described by other groups as sounding like birdsong. Taking the opportunity to stop for lunch and take a short tour around the village we then carry on, crossing the river and continuing along a gradually ascending track stopping en route for our picnic lunch. After lunch we continue to the village of Nam Toong. Another community of the Red Zao, on small rice paddy trail and we keep going through the village road, cross stream to Ban Ho village – where Tay ethnic minority people living for hundred years. Tonight we will stay in spacious long stilt house of eco village.

DAY 9: BAN HO – SU PAN – TA VAN

Following breakfast we will leave Ban Ho behind us and start to ascend to Supan. From Supan we will trek the small trails towards our next stop at the Giang Ta Chai waterfall. From the waterfall we will begin our trek towards Tavan village, where we spend the night with a family. Inhabited by the Zay people, this community has become very adept at rice cultivation and, in marked contrast to the H’mong, they have a higher living standard as a result.

DAY10: TAVAN – Y LINH HO – CAT CAT – SAPA

Today is our final day of our journey through the Hoang Lien Valley. We embark on our four and a half hour trek from Tavan, heading first through rice fields to Lao Chai and then on to Y Ling Ho. We will stop for a picnic lunch by the river. After lunch we will continue on small trails to the Black H’mong village of Cat Cat, from here we will make the final push up to Sapa. Overnight in hotel in Sapa Town.

DAY 11: SAPA FREE DAY NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI

The day is left free for you to enjoy the charming mountainside town of Sapa and its surroundings. It may be possible to arrange a half day visit to a traditional local minority market or a guided mountain bike trek to the Black H’mong villages in the Ma Tra valley. On the edge of town is Ham Rong, a scenic landscaped area with flower and orchid gardens and spectacular views amongst the stone forest. Or you may choose to relax, take a massage or enjoy the friendly banter with the traditionally dressed girls who wander the town trading their wares. Later this afternoon we will transfer back to Lao Cai to catch our overnight train to Hanoi.

Day 12: HANOI – HALONG BAY

The train pull you back to Hanoi at 4h30am, Our shuttle bus will meet you and transfer to Hotel for taking shower and having breakfast . following to breakfast, we depart to Halong bay via Hai Duong, on the way you are impressive on peaceful scenic beauty of Red River delta, quaint villages nested behind bamboo strip. Stop to visit handicraft Center and enjoy vietnamese coffee in half way. We continue to Halong bay on national way No18, upon arriving, do check in and enjoy three days two nighs cruise trip on Halong bay.

12:00 Check-in at Tuan Chau Marina, Tuan Chau Island.Embark on Bhaya Classic for a Welcome drink followed by a cruise briefing.

13:00 Savor a delicious Vietnamese buffet lunch as Bhaya Classic heads east to Vung Vieng.

15:30 Visit Vung Vieng by local rowing boat (1 hour) then return to the vessel for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities: Kayak around the limestone mountains or swim near the Bhaya.

17:30 The vessel cruises back through the bay to its overnight anchorage near Ho Dong Tien. Happy Hour (Buy one get one free) & Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the Sundeck (if weather permitting).

19:30 Sumptuous set-menu seafood dinner onboard.

21:00 Enjoy the movie or join our staff at the reception for squid fishing.Overnight onboard Bhaya Classic.

Day 13: HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND (B, L, D)

06:15 Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea and coffee are served.
07:00 Bhaya Classic weighs anchor to cruise the Bay. Early breakfast in the Dining Room.
08:00 Transfer to Bhaya Spirit junk for Lan Ha Bay excursions.
09:00 Guided biking or walking excursion in the national park of Cat Ba Island. Another option is to use the electric trolley service available (at a bit of extra cost).
12:00 Fresh lunch is served onboard.
14:30 Enjoy a guided kayaking tour, or refresh yourself with a swim, in the Ba Trai Dao
(Three Beaches) area, a remote part of the Gulf of Tonkin, boasting isolated beaches and nature at its best.
16:00 Return to Bhaya Classic.
17:00 The vessel cruises back through the Bay to its overnight anchorage near Ho Dong Tien. Happy Hour (Buy one get one free) and Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the Sundeck.
19:30 Sumptuous set-menu seafood dinner onboard.
21:00 Enjoy the movie or join our staff at the reception for squid fishing. Overnight onboard Bhaya Classic

Day 14: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B,L/D)

06:15 Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea and coffee are served.
07:00 Bhaya Classic weighs anchor to cruise through the Bay passing beautiful spots like Trong (Drum), Trinh Nu (Virgin) and Me Cung Caves, Coc Ngoi (Toad) Islet, etc.
08:30 Explore Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave.
09:30 Return to Bhaya Classic. Buffet brunch is served onboard.The vessel cruises leisurely back to harbor.
10:30 Onboard check out and return to the habor by tender.
10:45 Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina. Return to Hanoi.
15:00 Arrive in Hanoi. End of program.
DAY 15: HANOI- DEPARTURE
Have breakfast in hotel and free shopping until departure time to airport. We finish our service and thank you very much for joining cycling tour with us.
